What grants are available?
Our air to water and ground source heat pumps are eligible for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
Homeowners in England and Wales can receive:
- £7,500 off the cost and installation of an air source heat pump
- £5,000 off the cost and installation of a biomass boiler
- £7,500 off the cost and installation of a ground source heat pump

What do I need to check?
To check your customer is eligible for a grant, both of the following statments about them must be true. They must:

own the property the grant is being applied for (including if it’s a business, a second home, or a property they rent out to tenants)

be replacing fossil fuel heating systems - such as oil, gas, electric or LPG (liquefied petroleum gas)
They are still eligible if you’ve already had funding to make your property more energy efficient, for example by insulating it.
As the installer, you must commission and install the heat pump within 120 days of applying for the grant or it will not be eligible.
Check if your customer's property is eligible
Your customer's property must have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). An EPC is valid for 10 years.
Your customer will not be able to access a grant for:

most new build properties
-
social housing
-
a property that’s already been given government funding or support for a heat pump or biomass boiler
