We are a charitable trust
The vast majority of Bosch’s shares (92%) are held by Robert Bosch Stiftung GmbH,a charitable foundation.
This special ownership structure serves to maintain founder Robert Bosch’s tradition of civic engagement while also securing the company’s strong and meaningful development.
Charity Fundraising
Our team at Worcester Bosch are caring people who like to fundraise for causes dear to their hearts.
Every year we ask our colleagues to nominate and vote for the charity that they would like to support. The fundraising takes on many forms including – mud runs, coffee mornings, sponsored walks, pumpkin carving competitions, Christmas fayres, Summer fayres, customer golf days... in fact the list is so long it would be impossible to put everything down.
Below we’ve listed the charities we have supported in recent years. From 2017 onwards, the Executive Board of Worcester Bosch pledged to match the amount of money raised, which has meant even more funds have been donated to our chosen charities.

NHS Charity Boiler Raffle
During the Coronavirus Pandemic we created 2 special boilers with a rainbow theme to support the NHS Charity. We raffled the boilers off and raised over £8000 – both boilers were won by installation companies, who then gave them away to NHS workers – a very nice way to say thank you.
Our Charity Forum
As well as raising money for a particular cause – we also have a team of people across the business who review requests from charities to help with small projects, which is funded by the company.
If you would like your charity to be considered for a small donation please send full details to Charity.Forum@uk.bosch.com
