Supporting industry apprenticeships
For the past 20 years we have worked closely with leading colleges and training providers. Our partnership has diversified over time to ensure that training requirements are kept in line with industry standards and are constantly being revised to suit the ever-changing market.
We sponsor HIP’s Learner of the Year competition and meet as many apprentices as we can during the competition.

Coventry University Partnership
In partnership with Coventry University we offer a Master’s Programme for our employees with 6 subjects: MSc Data Science & Computational Intelligence, MSc Automotive Electrical Engineering, MSc Engineering Project Management, MSc Cyber Security, MSc Information Systems Technology and MSc Software Development, whereby the recipient receives a bursary.
Internships and work experience
We have a junior internship programme (for students at college) where we allocate a mentor within the business to a junior intern, providing them valuable insights into the world of work and offering two-week work experience.
For those students who are completing a degree course we also have an internship progamme which gives practical experience in the workplace to support their studies – this usually lasts for one year. The company supports around 60 interns per year. Following their placement we have the ability to offer a further part-time internship whilst they complete their studies which is part of the ‘New Skills Support’ scheme – a Bosch in the UK initiative.
We host a number of students on work experience each year into a variety of departments, often organising rotational placements to gain the most experience possible.
Our manufacturing departments also host workplace visits and factory tours for small groups of students to have a closer look at our products and manufacturing processes.
