2018 Which? Boiler Brands Report Success

Making it nine years at the top we have achieved the highest brand score in the 2018 Which? Boiler Brands report, and secured Best Buy status across our gas and oil-fired boilers.

Following glowing feedback from boiler owners and installers, the Which? report revealed that our boilers are the clear choice up across the country, with our brand sitting significantly above our nearest two rivals.

We also achieved five-star ratings where it counts - reliability, customer score, build quality and the likelihood that our products would be recommended by a professional installer.  As a result, we have been awarded Best Buys across all of our Greenstar Gas boilers and oil boiler range.

Which? summarised this year’s results by describing our company as a “Consistent chart topper. Very reliable, delighted customers, [and] backed by engineers who praise its build quality.”

This year’s customer scores were calculated using responses from owners on their satisfaction with our brand and the likelihood they would recommend us to family and friends, whilst reliability points were awarded after looking at the proportion of boiler repairs for models up to six years old. Which? Trusted Traders were also asked a series of questions, from ease of servicing, build quality to the ability to source parts to give a professionals’ view.

Commenting on Worcester Bosch, one Which? Trusted Trader heating engineer, added:

“It has a huge range of products, is generally very reliable and its customer service is a country mile ahead of others.”

Worcester Bosch’s oil boilers also received the top spot in this year’s review. Again, excellent results for reliability, customer satisfaction and the quality of the product all contributed to this enviable top-spot position.

This year’s report saw 12,191 boiler owners and 166 Which? Trusted Traders heating engineers asked to rate 12 of the main boiler brands.
