Boiler win brings cottage right up to date

Homeowner: Cherry Taylor
Property: Traditional 1920’s Cotswold Stone Home
Location: Bourton-on-the-Water
Installation: Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler
The Project:
Cherry’s family have spent 26 wonderful years in their beautiful Cotswold stone home, in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, and when she saw a Facebook post prompting her to enter Worcester Bosch’s competition to win a brand-new boiler, Cherry didn’t hesitate to submit her entry.
The family were delighted to learn they had won the competition, and that they would be able to finally replace their 20-year-old Glow-worm boiler, as its efficiency had started to decrease, with the family noticing that it would take quite some time for the property to warm up in the winter.
In order to heat the house effectively and to be able to provide hot water for the four-bedroom home, an efficient heating system was desperately needed. With the help of a Gas Safe Registered Worcester Accredited Installer, Cherry decided on the Greenstar 32CDI Compact from Worcester Bosch.
The chosen model was large enough to work without the need for a separate hot water cylinder, but small enough in size to fit nicely into the kitchen. The installer, Craig Wyatt from C. Wyatt Gas Services, ensured all the new pipework was boxed in neatly, altering the cupboard slightly to ensure easy access for future servicing.
Owner Cherry Taylor comments:
“I’m extremely happy with our new boiler, so far we’ve found it’s able to cater for all our needs, from a normal day, to a full house on a busy weekend.
“The efficiency of our hot water has increased and we no longer need to worry about our boiler breaking down at any time. We’re looking forward to testing the boiler’s full heating capabilities this winter.”
