Seven years at the top of the Which? boiler brand report

• Overall scores in the Which? Best Boiler brand report see us a full 9% ahead of nearest rival for gas fired boilers
• All gas and oil Worcester boilers now carry a Which? Best Buy
• This is the seventh year the Greenstar Gas boiler range has received the accreditation
• For the first time, all Greenstar Oil boilers now also hold Best Buy status

The annual survey compared fourteen manufacturers in total, revealing our customers to be the happiest, with ‘an extraordinary four in five who own one [being] very satisfied with their boiler and more than three quarters would recommend it to a friend’.  

With colder weather just around the corner, we know reliability is vital. The Homeowners and Professional Heating Engineers who were asked, scored our Greenstar range five-stars for reliability, build quality and customer service, as well as making us the most recommended brand among non-incentivised engineers.

Heating engineers also reported little difficulty servicing our Greenstar boilers, and noted that parts and spares were easy to come by when needed; giving our customers that extra peace of mind whilst ensuring maximum comfort and efficiency.

More than 11,000 people were questioned as part of this survey, including Which? members, Trusted Trader heating engineers and members of the public, making this its most comprehensive assessment of each boiler brand to date.

A summary of the report noted: “Heating engineers also heap plenty of praise on Worcester Bosch boilers. It is the only brand that earns a five-star rating for how likely engineers are to recommend it.”

For the first year, our Greenstar oil-fired boiler range also obtained Which? Best Buy status – the only oil boiler range on the market to achieve this in 2016. Homeowners and heating engineers rated our Greenstar range so highly it beat the nearest rival by an impressive 16%.

On this range Which? said: “It was simply the best oil boiler around according to owners and engineers.”
