When Grace Homes introduced its new White Lodge Farm development near Burton Latimer in Northamptonshire, energy efficiency featured high on the agenda. The regional housebuilder wished to maintain a commitment to quality, while also generating 10 per cent of the energy required by the development’s 42 properties from renewable sources – a local planning policy.

Grace Homes equipped the properties with a complete heating solution comprising a Greenstar System gas-fired condensing boiler, a Greenstore unvented hot water storage cylinder, and Greenskies Solar-Lifestyle panels. The systems are supported by the installation of one of Worcester’s intelligent control modules to guarantee maximum energy efficiency all year round.
